Ross Henderson
Ross started with H&L in 1997 after being involved in front of house and back office roles for many leading hospitality operators in South Australia. After initially working in the South Australian office of H&L, he moved to Perth to establish the Western Australian office in 1999.
Ross believes the early years of performing book keeping and stock control for lots of different types of hospitality businesses gave him the understanding of ‘the basics'. This placed him in a good position when first learning the H&L product and how it applies technology to everyday tasks.
"I think having that thorough understanding of how a hospitality business works allowed me to better work out how to use technology to a client's advantage. I still believe the ability to work out the best solution for a client is only possible by understanding their needs first. The H&L solutions are simply a way to make getting ‘the basics' done in a more efficient way utilising technology," said Ross.
With Ross' experience throughout the evolution of the current day H&L product suite, he is well placed to recommend and deliver the best solutions to businesses throughout the Western Australia territory.
Adam Skinner
Adam started with H&L in January 2008 as a Technician/Trainer, and is now the NSW Regional Manager.
Adam brings to H&L a wealth of experience across all facets of hotel and hospitality management. Adam has an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management from Willam Blue International Hotel School, a Hotel Licensees Accreditation, and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. Working for the Taverner/ALH Group for 5 years in some of their flagship venues as Purchasing Manager, Stock Controller and a Senior Assistant Manager, Adam learnt the importance of stock, inventory and cash control to the profitability of any hotel - and how coupling technology, controls and training into Point of Sale solutions can dramatically increase business.
"After working with H&L in some of Sydney's busiest hotels, I wanted to be able to help other businesses better manage their operations. My knowledge of the hotel industry as well as the technology helps me offer better service to our clients, an understanding and rapport with how hospitality businesses operate - and know what is important to them"
